I am a Gwinnett-based attorney, proud son of immigrants from Mexico and Honduras, and a Democrat running to represent Georgia House District 109 (Lilburn, Lawrenceville, and the I-85 corridor through Norcross). This community raised me—through our public schools, mentors who believed in me, and opportunities like the HOPE Scholarship. I've spent my career fighting for everyday people: protecting families, standing up for consumers, and taking on powerful interests like Georgia Power. I'm running for generational change—safe schools, affordable living, and a Representative who will always put working families first.
I'm ready to fight for this community, I'm ready to lift up our voices. And I'm asking for your support and to vote Estrada or Nada.

Healthcare as Right
Ensure every Georgian has access to comprehensive, affordable care by laying the groundwork for a single-payer system, expanding Medicaid to cover 450,000 more residents, and capping out-of-pocket and surprise medical costs.
Job Creation & Economic Growth
Create good, living-wage jobs through partnerships with local colleges and employers, apprenticeship programs, tariff-relief grants for small businesses, and tax incentives for hiring within District 109.
Backbone Support for Small Businesses
Strengthen our local economy by increasing small-biz tax credits, launching a micro-grant fund for minority and women entrepreneurs, and establishing a "Buy Local, Grow Local" mentorship program.
Affordable Education for All
Cap in-district tuition at community colleges to 5% of family income, restore $3 million in local scholarship funds, and introduce mandatory financial-literacy courses in high schools.
Tenant Protection & Housing Justice
Enshrine a Tenant Bill of Rights with just-cause eviction, rent-hike limits tied to inflation, and a warranty of habitability—while funding community land trusts and rapid-response eviction defense.
Education
Promote the expansion of HOPE scholarship and help reduce the cost of education to reasonable costs. Utilize our tax dollars to feed and educate our children in public schools.
Artificial Intelligence
Create an Agency for AI oversight to prevent fraudulent and malicious use of AI. Sensibly regulate AI in order to turn it into a tool for growth and efficiency.
Modern, Equitable Transit
Extend MARTA rail into Lawrenceville, launch Bus Rapid Transit on key corridors, and fund last-mile microtransit and bike-share connections to reduce congestion and improve access.
Sensible Gun Safety
Close background-check loopholes for all gun sales, mandate safe-storage locks, and invest in community-based violence-interruption and youth outreach programs.
Equality & Anti-Discrimination
Overturn anti-LGBTQ and anti-DEI laws, enact the Georgia Equality Act to protect against discrimination in housing and employment, and host quarterly multicultural roundtables to inform policy.
Protecting Fundamental Rights
Guarantee reproductive freedom with a state constitutional amendment, restore strong voting rights (including pre-clearance and expanded early voting), and advocate for Georgians facing discriminatory prosecutions.
Clean & Renewable Energy
Aggressively pursue clean and renewable energy as primary energy sources and reduce the use of fossil fuels and other environmentally harmful energy sources. Increase oversight on the Public Service Commission to reduce the cost of utilities to Georgia residents.
Promote Individual Homeownership
Prioritize home ownership for individuals over corporate ownership or homes. Disincentivize corporations from owning single family household homes used solely for profit. Expand tax homestead exemptions for homeowners who live and work in Georgia.
Immigration Friendly Policies
Force I.C.E. out of our community by allowing local governments to protect their own citizens. Codify in-state college tuition for residents of Georgia. Protect honest, hard-working members of our immigrant communities by allowing them to work and continue making a living for themselves and their families.
